The challenge
COVERGIRL wanted a full colour magazine ad to run in various fashion magazines.
The goal was to promote and drive sales for their new, TrueYou Match, Lipstick.
Their audience are make-up lovers aged 24-40 who regularly buy health and beauty items.
They are confident, want to look their best and are happy to buy products to enhance their natural beauty.
The solution
Inspired by the idea that the lipstick enhances natural lip colour, the copy focuses on creating an effortless natural look and promotes confidence, authenticity and pride in being yourself.
I highlighted the words that really speak to this so they are easily seen when skimming the ad.
The features of long lasting colour and hydration are included in the body copy as these are important for the on-the-go consumer.
The look of the ad is in keeping with COVERGIRL’s current branding of fresh beauty and the colour scheme has a sense of fun while maintaining that fresh, natural look.
